A rare succulent plant, which naturally grows in the Geelvlei locality in South Africa. The name of Conophytum derives from the Greek words "kònos" (cone) and "phytòn" (plant), due to the characteristic cone shape of the stem. This small succulent plant is made up of green fleshy leaves, joined at the base in pairs. Like the other Conophytum, this plant also has a particular growth: the new leaves are formed inside the stem and then come out when the old leaves begin to dry out. In autumn you can admire its flowers of different colors: pink, yellow or white.
