Wonderful dwarf succulent, formed by coupled leaves extremely fleshy and separated only at the apex, where they get a shape similar to a pair of horns (hence the name of the species) with a characteristic central fissure from which, In autumn, wonderful yellow daisies will bloom. The epidermis of C. corniferum assumes a pleasant light and opaque green hue, microscopically dotted. Like all the species belonging to the genus Conophytum, it is amazing to notice its extreme adaptability: in fact, this miniature succulent tends to store remarkable quantities of water in its massive leaves, to be exploited during the drought periods; is also able to reduce its volume and hide in the ground when it is in lack of water supply!
