Cochemiea poselgeri f. variegata

Columnar cactus, which with time tends to grow in height and branch at the base. The stem, of a violet-green color, has multiple well defined protruding tubercles, equipped with small round and fluffy areoles. The variegated shape presents the typical lighter areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each exemplar will be absolutely unique! Its radial spines, star-shaped, are white, while the central ones are long and hooked, of yellow-brownish color. During the spring you can admire, at night, its beautiful funnel-shaped flowers of scarlet red color.
