Cochemiea poselgeri

A cactacea with a columnar habit, which over time tends to grow in height and branch out at the base. The purplish-green stem has multiple well-defined protruding tubercles, equipped with small round downy areoles. Its radial spines, arranged in a star shape, are white, while the central ones are long and hooked, of a brownish-yellow color. During spring you can admire its beautiful funnel-shaped flowers of a scarlet red color which bloom at night.
