Description:
The variegated shape of this succulent has pink, white or pale yellow areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent; such zones will never be identical from one plant to another, thus making each exemplar absolutely unique and, for this reason, very sought after by collectors. It is a small succulent plant that does not exceed 10 cm in height but rather expands horizontally, creating wonderful green carpets. Ceropegia woodii produces long stems (up to 90 cm) from which depart bright green leaves, streaked with white-silver streaks on the upper part and a wonderful purple shade on the lower part. The particularity of the foliage lies in its beautiful heart shape, which is why the plant is often called "string of hearts" or "chain of hearts". In summer - early autumn this succulent blooms with small purple lantern-shaped flowers.

Plant care:
It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.
It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 15 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
Water moderately and only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water it once a week in spring and summer, and reduce it to once every two months in autumn and winter.
The best soil is a well-draining and porous one, even better if further enriched with 50% of inert materials such as pumice, lapilli or clay.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
