Description:
Perennial succulent plant with fleshy, greenish-gray cylindrical stems that over time intertwine with each other. It has very few leaves, with the appearance of small scales, which form only on the new growth. Its flowers are very particular, of a unique beauty: they have a round base and then continue in the shape of a tube that makes them look like a lantern with 5 greenish-gray petals, which are enclosed in a kind of small cage.

Plant care:
It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sunlight especially during the hottest hours of the day.
It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 15 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
Water moderately and only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water it once a week in spring and summer, and reduce it to once every two months in autumn and winter.
The best soil is a well-draining and porous one, even better if further enriched with 50% of inert materials such as pumice, lapilli or clay.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
