Cereus galapagensis

C. galapagensis is an exemplar of a cylindrical cactus that expands tufting. Its stem, of dark green colour, has several well marked ribs, on which we can notice the woolly yellow areoles. Radial and central spines emerge from the latter: the radials have a yellowish color and are long and numerous while the central ones are more robust and longer; both are facing upwards.
