Boswellia socotrana

This succulent is native to the island of Socotra in Yemen ( hence the name Socotrana ). It has a stem that reaches about 7 meters in height with numerous branches and a scaly bark from the brownish color that over time tends to become gray. Its small fleshy leaves are green, in some cases dark green with rough surface and serrated margins. Its beautiful flowers are small, similar to geraniums and greenish yellow in color.
