Aztekium valdezii

Aztekium valdezii is a very interesting plant, with an unusual shape that is very reminiscent of that of a starfish. There are several fairly deep ribs, and at the apex there is a whitish down that finishes this particular and refined species. In the midst of this small curved thorns grow, and during spring and early summer, funnel-shaped flowers are born, usually magenta in color. Perfect for decorating interiors and exteriors in a simple but at the same time elegant way.
