Astroloba corrugata

Succulent with a decidedly particular and easily recognizable look , formed by stems not exceeding 20 cm in height; the bodies tend to branch at the base and are completely covered by short and turgid leaves, tightly stacked together in some sort of spiral. The foliage, of a nice bright emerald green, has a marked tip facing outwards and slightly curved downwards, for an overall extremely decorative look. The foliar epidermis is covered by microscopic tubercles of the same chromatic shade, which render it rough to the touch (hence the name of the species "corrugata", which literally in Latin means just wrinkled). In spring, at the apex of long stems, graceful tubular inflorescences blossom, on the notes of cream white.
