Argyroderma litorale was first found by Steven Brack, near Strandfontein (South Africa). It is a small ground cover succulent that is characterized by its finger-like leaves, of a greyish-green color, which with the prolonged exposure to the direct light and dry cold, take on purple shades. In winter it blooms in the center with daisy-like flowers, of a color ranging from purple-pink to white and yellow.
