Ancistrocactus brevihamatus

It is a rare solitary cactus with a generally olive-green stem. It has ribs well defined by numerous conoidal tubercles, and a threatening appearance due to its numerous long and hooked spines of a color ranging from yellow to reddish. Cactacea with slow growth and resistant to low temperatures if kept in dry soil conditions.
