The name of the genus Anacampseros derives from the Greek "ἀνακαμπψέρος" which means "to lower", in fact it is a low-growing succulent plant, which clusters easily and assumes a carpet-like habit. The feature that makes it special is its small underground caudex, where it stores water to survive during drought periods. Its compact, with obovate pointed leaves, range in color from dark green to pinkish. This attractive succulent plant has sparse white hairs that are slightly shorter than the leaves. When it blooms it generates beautiful pink flowers.
