Succulent plant with a truly peculiar appearance, consisting of a perennial underground bulb, which tends to hibernate in winter to then sprout, in spring, a branched foliage like an umbrella. Each leaf has an intense emerald green, elliptical shape enriched by multiple veins. The name of the plant derives from its characteristic of generating, in the fork between the leaves, small bulbs that will easily root on the ground when the stem withers, to give life to new plants. The real strong point of this specimen is certainly its gigantic flower: when it has reached maturity, a single flower up to 60 cm high will be born directly from the bulb, consisting of a spathe of a delicate faded pink, slightly greenish on the outside, which seems to wrap the central inflorescence (the spadix) in the shape of a stick, for a truly unique and absolutely original overall appearance!
