The name of the species literally means "over leafy", referring to the leaves at a young age, which grow stacked on top of each other like an open book (this arrangement makes it jokingly called "Aloe mustache"). It has a truly original feature: when it reaches mature age, in fact, the leaves change arrangement, developing a large rosette! The foliage is also very particular, consisting of fleshy leaves up to 40 centimeters long, lanceolate and sharp, of a beautiful bluish-gray color that contrasts nicely with the soft reddish teeth present along all the edges. It is certainly an extraordinary plant, very easy to grow and very ornamental at the same time, do not miss it to embellish your rooms!
