Aloe 'Black gem'

Succulent particularly appreciated for its bright and deeply variable shades depending on the habitat and the season. It has the typical rosette disposition formed by long and lanceolate leaves, smooth and strongly pointed at the apex; the margins at times, especially in the bigger plants, can be adorned by a soft and sparse whitish dentition. It is a plant that does not reach considerable size, but rather tends to turn on abundantly giving rise to thick bushes. The epidermis of A. ˈBlack gem' is the real highlight: generally of a bright green, when it is abundantly exposed to sunlight, it is tinged with purple shades, tending to black (hence the name of the species)for an absolutely original and ornamental overall effect!
