Also known as "Blue Agave", it is a succulent plant that produces long, fleshy, bluish-green leaves. Small dark thorns can be seen on the margins, while at the end of each leaf there is a rigid and long dark brown, almost black, spine. The name of the species derives from the fact that Agave tequilana is used in Mexico for the production of tequila - one of the best known Mexican products in the world. Due to its very decorative aspect, Agave tequilana is ideal for adding a touch of color to both your modern apartments and your extraordinary gardens!
