Adromischus trigonus

The name of the genus Adromischus means "abundant stem" and derives from the Greek words "adros" (abundant) and "mischòis" (stem). This succulent plant, native to South Africa, has fleshy compact triangular leaves (hence the name "trigonus") of a light green color, with purple spots. Very appreciated as ornamental plant, by collectors of this genus. This relatively slow-growing succulent plant grows in autumn and is very susceptible to rotting throughout the year.
