Description:
The name of the genus Adromischus means "abundant stem" and derives from the Greek "adros" (abundant) and "mischòis" (stem). It is a small perennial succulent plant with slow growth that branches a lot. It has fleshy silvery-green, almost heart-shaped leaves, characterized by red-brown spots on the upper part. In the flowering season on long stalks, it blooms with small pink flowers with white tips. This succulent plant vegetates in autumn and is very susceptible to rotting throughout the year.

Plant care:
It requires a lot of light all year long while avoiding direct sunlight.
Its natural habitat is in tropical climates, thus it does not withstand temperatures below 10 °C and it does not like too dry heat. It is therefore advisable to keep it away from cold and intense sun.
Water moderately and only when the soil is completely dry. Once every two weeks in spring and summer, reduce it to once every two months in autumn and winter.
The best option is a well draining soil, for example formed by a mixture of peat and sand so that the water does not stagnate.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
