This small fast growing succulent, of a variable shape, is very appreciated by succulent lovers. It grows in tufts forming small rosettes. This plant is characterized by thick and fleshy leaves of a tubular shape, flattened at the apex where it forms a wavy crest, from which it takes its name "Cristatus", in some specimens at the base of the leaves it may have a thin yellow-orange hair. This plant, which in its habitat grows among rocky slopes, can assume various shades of green, often with red or purple dots determined by the growing conditions. Flowering occurs on small and long stems, blooming with tubular flowers of variable colors.
