Adenium somalense

A beautiful caudiciform succulent plant also known as "Desert rose". It is a deciduous shrub (it loses its leaves in the period of vegetative rest) that can reach up to 5 meters in height, has a caudex at the base, where it stores water to survive during drought periods, and if pruned regularly it can take on beautiful bonsai shapes. From its dense and thin branches, narrow and long green leaves grow. Typically in the drier periods of spring and autumn you can admire its dense tubular flowers which vary in color, ranging from white to crimson red.
