Adenia volkensii

Adenia volkensii is a perennial plant that produces annual caudiciform stems, more or less woody, which can reach up to 50 cm in height. It has triangular leaves with light green indented margins, which develop long very thin stems which tend to climb or crawl on the ground. During the flowering period, it generates, on a long peduncle, small flowers usually of pale green or cream colour.
