Opuntia monacantha f. monster variegated (Variegated)

It is also known as “Joseph's Coat”, this is a miniature variant of the larger Opuntia monacantha. It is highly appreciated for its very particular white variegation, which can vary from creamy white and yellow to green or sometimes even to pink, and for its monstrous shape; each specimen is truly unique. It has a smooth and flattened stem with areoles, that are distant from each other, from which numerous small red spines emerge. It blooms with small red flowers.
