Graptoveria 'Fred Ives' f. crested variegated (Variegated)

It is an absolutely unique exemplar, characterized by whitish-pink epidermic zones due to the absence of chlorophyll, to which is added the crested disposition: it has a crest of leaves smaller and more compact than the not crested type which, unlike most species, tend to develop at the apex of a flattened stem and similar to a fan. In its normal form the plant is a hybrid between 2 species, Graptopetalum paraguayensis and Echeveria gibbiflora. It’s a wonderful evergreen that, growing, produces numerous rosettes up to 30 cm in diameter. It has robust and pointed leaves, usually of violet-pink color which, with the exposure to the sun or to the dry cold, may get various tonalities: from the bluish-green up to the orange-yellow, from the salmonated up to the bronzed!
