Echeveria 'Dark Vader' f. variegated (Variegated)

The variegated shape of this plant has streaks, in the exact areas of the epidermis where there is a lack of chlorophyll. Such spots will never be identical in different plants, making each one unique. In the normal form, E. 'Dark Vader' is obtained in nursery by crossing between E. 'Topsy Turvy' and E. 'Black Prince', to obtain a splendid specimen, very rare because it is the result of a complex union but for this reason highly coveted by collectors. It is a compact rosette made up of unusual leaves folded on themselves and upwards, So much to show also the lower surface with a wavy and extremely elegant. If on one side the shape looks very like E. 'Topsy Turvy', on the other the very dark coloring of the epidermis, that in cold periods turns to a true black enriched with reddish shades on the tips, is very similar to E. 'Black Prince'. The overall effect obtained is absolutely original: the combination of the movement of the shape and the composure of the coloring creates a wonderfully ornamental specimen, without comparisons!
