Aloe aristata f. variegated (Variegated)

This low-growing, rosette-shaped succulent plant clusters at the base and over time forms a bush. The epidermis of the plant is green with wide yellow variegations and is covered with white dots and stripes, rough to the touch. Its long leaves with serrated margins, are narrow and at the tip have a thin filament (the arista), from this characteristic derives its name 'A. aristata'.  During drought periods the rosettes close up forming some sort of a ball. It is a perfect plant both to decorate your interiors where it gives an exotic and natural touch, and to decorate rocky gardens as long as it can withstand for short periods temperatures close to zero degrees.
