Aeonium 'Bronze medal' f. variegata

Probably considered a hybrid obtained from Aeonium sedifolium, this exemplar is absolutely unique both for its rarity and for the wonderful chromatic effect it gives life to. Formed by the typical compact and flat rosette arrangement, its leaves are long and lanceolate, pointed at the apex and finely ciliated along the margins. The epidermis takes on changing light green shades that fade towards a pinkish-reddish at the apexes and tend, with the growth, to be enriched by peculiar longitudinal streaks bronze-colored along the leaf (hence the name of the species "bronze medal"). In the variegated form it has further areas clearer in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: these characteristics will never be the same from one plant to another, therefore each specimen will be absolutely unique!
