Taciveria (Succulents)

Taciveria is a genus of succulent that is not present in nature but is created in the nurseries by the crossing between the genus Tacitum (commonly known also as Graptopetalum) and Echeveria. They are succulent plants very appreciated by collectors all over the world thanks to their particular and attractive appearance. They inherited the shape characteristics of both parents such as the compact rosette arrangement with oval shaped leaves ending in a slight tip and well delineated margins. This kind of succulent is suitable for mild climates with high temperatures and however above 4 ºC. but does not like direct sunlight especially in the hottest hours of the day. The epidermis of the Taciveries has different shades depending on the surrounding environment or the various crossings between different types of Graptopetalum and Echeveria; colors ranging from intense green, glaucous/ bluish to light green and opaque, After prolonged exposure to the sun these succulents tend to take on reddish shades in the lower part of the leaves, especially towards the edges and tips. They are very easy to grow and do not require frequent watering, it is necessary to water only when the soil is completely dry. The flowers of Taciveria bloom at the apex of the plant from long stems and have delicate petals with bright pink or fuchsia colors.
