Sedum telephium (Succulents)

Commonly known, "Saint Mary's wort" or "St. John's wort", this plant has multiple uses, from ornamental to functional. It is a succulent plant that develops abundantly throughout Europe, especially in dry soils, tending to occupy all the available space without exceeding 50 cm in height. From thin succulent stems, which store abundant quantities of water, leaves of a beautiful opaque glaucous green branch off, flat and ovate with characteristic softly serrated margins. It has a long blooming season, which runs from early spring to late autumn, so it will be able to liven up your spaces for a long time with its small flowers with their bright shades of pink and purple-red. Perhaps not many know that this plant is a perfect example of how ancient traditions can be extremely useful and truthful: the leaf of Sedum telephium was used since time immemorial on burns, abscesses and wounds. Even today its use is approved by scholars, who have scientifically demonstrated that this plant is an extraordinary natural healing agent, perfect for treating burns, ulcers, dermatitis and wounds of any kind!
