Monadenium discoideum (Succulents)

It is a caudiciform plant with annual green stems. The leaves are lanceolate, light green and wavy, covered with thick white hair. The flower is yellow. It is a rare slow growing plant, which is why it is highly sought after by green collectors all over the world. During the vegetative rest it loses both the leaves and the stem, to grow them back during the vegetative period. In its caudex it stores water to survive during drought periods. Synonym: Euphorbia discoideum.
