Monadenium arborescens (Succulents)

It is one of the fastest growing species in the entire genus, consisting of stems that can become woody and reach, in the wild, up to 3 meters in height! Each stem has a particular pentagonal section, sometimes with spiral growth, of a beautiful, extremely bright and shiny emerald green. The skin is enriched with small pointed tubercles, which end in microscopic red-coppery thorns. During the vegetative season the charm of this extravagant specimen is accentuated when, at the top of the stem, large obovate leaves begin to grow, rather long, with wavy margins and clearer visible veins. It is a succulent that contains all the best peculiarities of the world of succulents!
