Echinopsis mariae (Succulents)

It is a small perennial succulent plant with cylindrical green stems, slightly covered with small tubercles; at the apex of each of them you can see small white scars, due to the fall of its tiny leaves. At the end of summer or at the beginning of early autumn, small and numerous star-shaped flowers bloom, which are yellow inside and brick red outside.
