It is a particular hybrid between 2 species: Graptopetalum paraguayense and Sedum pachyphyllum. Its name honors Francesco Baldi - an Italian succulent grower. Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi' f. crested has a long and wide stem, at the top of which small fleshy and glabrous leaves, of a greyish-blue color, grow, forming a particular crest, highly appreciated by green collectors from all over the world. With the prolonged exposure to the direct sun or in dry cold conditions, its leaves take on a pinkish hue. When dried out, the old leaves fall off, leaving the stem bare and smooth. With its particular shape, G. 'Francesco Baldi' f. crested will give a touch of style and elegance to both your apartments and your gardens.
