Graptosedum (Crested)

Graptosedum

Graptosedum is a succulent plant of uncertain origins. It is a hybrid between 2 genera: Graptoveria, from which it took its beautiful colors, and Sedum, from which it took the typical shape of the leaves. It grows, forming many compact rosettes, up to 13 cm in diameter, geometrically exact, which develop on the long and falling stems. The flowering period is quite long (from late spring to almost early winter), when small, mainly yellow and white flowers appear on a very long stem. The peculiarity of this plant is that Graptosedum takes on a pink color, when exposed to the sun, while it becomes more bluish in shade. This succulent is very resistant, in fact it is perfect for gardens and balconies, where it can show all its beauty with its ornamental colors.
