Strombocactus disciformis f. crested (Cactus)

The crested shape of this cactus has a unique fan crest; you will never find two identical crested plants and for this reason each specimen is much sought after by collectors around the world. In the normal form is a cactus with slow growth that resembles a pine cone, with a spherical and flattened body, enriched laterally by long calcified spines and at the apex by white fluff on which are born funnel-shaped flowers of cream color.
