Strombocactus (Cactus)

The name of this genus means "pine cone cactus", which stands for its distinctive and unmistakable shape of its species.In nature, it often grows on vertical walls. Sometimes mistakenly considered a plant with a complicated cultivation, though it is actually simply a very slow growing cactaceae: after two years from sowing, the cactus will have a diameter of about one centimeter! It will therefore take years for it to grow, however, if you are patient enough, it will repay you with fragrant and graceful flowers, abundant and delicate, which only a rare plant like this may have!
