Opuntia microdasys var. ondulata (Cactus)

It is a shrubby cactus, characterized by assuming a wavy shape, as it grows. The epidermis has a blue-green color, that brings out the yellow color of the dense areoles, from which numerous very short spines emerge. With its "harmless" appearance, it can instead cause considerable discomfort with just a simple touch, due to the aerial spores. Flowering can occur in spring or early summer, generating yellow flowers.
