Notocactus sulphureus f. variegated (Cactus)

Notocactus sulphureus f. variegata is made particular by the variegation, which makes it unique and unmistakable. This detail occurs when there is no chlorophyll in the epidermis. Also known as Parodia scopa var. sulfurea, N. suphureus f.variegata is a cactus with a globose shape that, while growing, over time, becomes columnar. Its green stem is covered by thick and fluffy white areoles, from which come out many small thorns of an intense yellow/ orange colour. At the apex you create a concavity with the shape similar to a spiral. The inflorescence takes place in the spring period generating beautiful flowers with multiple colors, which can vary from intense yellow to orange.
