Notocactus leninghausii f. crested (Cactus)

Commonly known as Parodia leninghausii f. crested or "Golden Ball cactus". It is a plant of a particular shape, due to its crest, that makes each specimen unique and therefore highly sought after by green collectors. Like all crested forms, it has a slow growth. Its long bristles and yellow hairs completely envelop the plant, performing the thermoregulation function: it cools it in summer and keeps it warm in winter.
