Neoraimondia herzogiana (Cactus)

Jokingly called "baseball cactus". It is a columnar cactus, that can branch once it reaches a certain height. In nature it grows up to 15 m in height. The stem is bright green, with brownish spines along the ribs. You can admire its beautiful white or pink flowers only on adult plants. A curious fact: people in the Peruvian Andes use Neoraimondia as the main ingredient of the intoxicating drink, called "cimora".
