Matucana aureiflora (Cactus)

It is a slightly flattened globose cactus, that in nature grows slowly; when grown in a pot, it grows much faster. Its epidermis is bright green, its yellow-brown spines can be both straight or slightly curved towards the stem. The yellow flowers of M. aureflora bloom in spring-summer and remain open both day and night. It is an easy to grow plant.
