Marginatocereus marginatus (Cactus)

It is a columnar-shaped cactus with an erect and majestic stem, which can also branch out at the base. It has a smooth dark green skin. It is very recognizable for its white areoles, that emerge on the ribs, forming a continuous line. At a young age it has longer spines, which shorten over time. In spring, it blooms with pinkish-yellow flowers.
