Lobivia famatimensis (Cactus)

This small cactacea of very small dimensions is considered one of the most beautiful and distinctive, characterized by a stem depressed at the apex, of a greenish color that turns purple in full light. From its dense and numerous tubercles large spines grow equally, that are of a yellowish or orange color, which cover the entire stem and resemble, due to their arrangement, small spiders. The inflorescences bloom at the apex of the plant, are relatively large and take on yellow and reddish colors of pleasant warm shades.
