Haageocereus setosus

H. setosus is a specimen of columnar cactus native to Peru. It has a green stem with vertical ribs and marked tubercles. Above each tubercle, the downy areola from which its spines emerge can be seen. The radial spines are numerous, thin, yellow in color and over time take on reddish shades starting from the tips. The central spines are almost non-existent, we rarely find 2-3 at the apex of the stem and are more robust than the radial ones. This cactus is suitable for decorating interior spaces of any type, it can also be placed in balconies during hot periods. It cannot tolerate low temperatures below 15 degrees, in its natural habitat it is used to growing in warm places, given the mild climate of Peru.
