Frailea mammifera (Cactus)

A globose miniature cactus, which over time tends to spindle. Generally it is solitary, however, it can occasionally cluster at the base. This plant is entirely covered with small conical tubercles with thick thin and golden spines. Its bright yellow funnel-shaped inflorescences have a considerable size, compared to the plant. The flowers bloom around the apex.
