Frailea lepida (Cactus)

A small cactacea with dark green cylindrical stems, both solitary and clustered. It is entirely covered with dense thin radial white spines, with longer central spines of a brownish color, that tend to grow upwards. Its funnel-shaped yellow inflorescences have a considerable size, compared to the plant. The flowers bloom around the stems.
