Ferocactus sinuatus (Cactus)

A solitary globose cactus of a dark green color, has multiple ribs, well defined by protruding tubercles, on which thin yellowish, long and hooked spines sprout, that wrap the whole body of the plant. On the apex it blooms with fantastic multi-layered funnel-shaped flowers of an intense yellow-orange color.
