Ferocactus rectispinus (Cactus)

It is a solitary globose cactus, subspecies of Ferocactus emoryi (the scientific name is Ferocactus emoryi subs. rectispinus), it can reach up to 1.50 m in height. The opaque greyish-green body has many well-furrowed ribs with large round white areoles. Its radial spines are sparse and straight, of a whitish color, while the central ones are more erect, of a red color and a considerable length, which distinguishes it from other Ferocactus.
