Art. 61555
It is a medium-sized, barrel-shaped cactus with a solitary habit. Its stem, with its characteristic grayish blue color, has well-marked ribs, framed by downy whitish areoles. The plant is almost completely devoid of spines, which gives it the name of 'inermis' that means "unarmed". In late spring, it blooms with beautiful funnel-shaped flowers of a bright yellow color, which form some sort of a ring at the apex of the plant.
