A cylindrical cactus, which branches out to take on a shrubby appearance. Its stem, of a bright green color, has about 10 rounded ribs, on which downy areoles are formed with rigid golden spines with a brown tip, that with the maturity of the plant, become gray. During the flowering period, it blooms with diurnal white inflorescences. This plant is a must-have that cannot be missing from your cactus collection!

Plant care:
It likes an exposure to full sun in rather airy locations.
It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 8 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer and suspend watering completely in autumn and winter.
The best one is a very well-draining soil specific for cacti.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
